It doesn’t matter how much any of us try to spin things. History, culture, and all of the other intrinsic things aside, sometimes people just love the tropical life. They want that typical island getaway. This is where Palau comes in, an incredible tropical paradise for those who are looking for a great place to swim, surf, or tan on the beach. It’s a wondrous place with an inescapable beauty; a beauty that is the pride of the locals who take environmental conservation extremely seriously.
The climate here is pleasant pretty much year round. Average temperatures are around 82 degrees Fahrenheit, it rains about 150 inches per year, and there are very low chances of any type of typhoon coming through the area. So, if you’re looking for a tropical feel, this is perfect.
Palau also grows a number of tropical fruits on the island, from pineapple and coconut to papaya and even some cocoa. A person doesn’t need to look far to have some of the finest ingredients on his plate or in his drink.
Overall though, any visitors are sure to be captured by an island that takes its upkeep very seriously. This is reflective of their belief that being good stewards of the land and its resources is the key to happiness for all who set foot there. We couldn’t agree more.
