Sao Tome and Principe is an African country located in the central part of the continent, which is found on the Equator in the Gulf of Guinea. The country possesses two significant islands: Sao Tome and Principe and lots of rocky islets, including Rolas south of Sao Tome island and Pedras, Tinhosas, and Caroco, south of Principe. The island nation shares maritime borders with Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and Nigeria.
Sao Tome and Principe are filled with many beaches and historical landmarks like the Obo Natural Park, Il’heu Das Rolas, Pico Cao Grande, Lagoa Azul, Praia Jale, Pico Mocambo, Museu Nacional De Sao Tome, And Principe, Praia Micondo, and Watch Whales.
The Santomeans have rich cuisines. Their signature dish is called calulú, and most of their food contains fish (grelhado) either grilled, baked, or lesser degree cooked/boiled, banana coulda(cooked banana), Beans (feijão), and rice (arroz). The country’s beer is Rosema or Nacional, while the country’s drink is Palm Wine (Vinho de Palma or vim pema).
